3.  The Three Selves

Constant Self:  Constant and hidden.

Intercessor:  Changing and hidden.

Conscious Self:  Changing and visible.

One's consciousness is limited by one's identity.  Things are limited to themselves by definition.  One's identity is limited to itself by definition.  The ultimate identity is not defined, that is, it is not limited, and neither is its consciousness.

There is only one kind of romance, and that is a person looking for God.  There is only one kind of madness, and that is a person looking for the God they don't know.  It is the saddest and most painful thing for the impossibility of it happening as they expected or seek.  They are forgetting the Truth that they have never learned they knew, and struggling toward what cannot be reached.  You cannot find what you have not lost, and you cannot become what you already are.

You must first know your changing and hidden self (your Intercessor) before you can know your constant and hidden self.  You may let your Intercessor be your God.  You can know your Intercessor deeply, and this romance can be resolved and your longing fulfilled.

Jesus said, "Recognize what is in your sight, and that which is hidden from you will become plain to you . For there is nothing hidden which will not become manifest."

His disciples questioned him and said to him, "Do you want us to fast?  How shall we pray?  Shall we give alms?  What diet shall we observe?"

Jesus said, "Do not tell lies, and do not do what you hate, for all things are plain in the sight of heaven.  For nothing hidden will not become manifest, and nothing covered will remain without being uncovered."
