I didn't feel any need for another guitar, but an irresistable deal on this guitar presented itself, and I was curious about the Sustainer thing.  I got it and loved everything about it except the '80s metal-shredder shape, so...I busted out the jig-saw again, with particular, geometric ideals in mind.  Lower-left bout trimmed:

The pickups, locking vibrato bridge and controls are protected from sawdust by taped-down plastic wrap.
